A Triathlete's Manifesto

General Info and Random Facts

General Info:

I did anything my older brother did;  soccer, karate, piano lessons, swimming… When he wanted to focus solely on swimming, then so did I, I thought. At age 11 I traded in my recreational sport career for the sole competitive sport of swimming. Through the rewarding yet unbelievably frustrating twelve year span of my swimming career, I’ve found myself with so much personal knowledge about my mental, as well as physical strength that I would complete those twelve years all over again exactly the same. In addition to gaining those personal skills, I also am proud to say I was a 2008 Olympic Trials competitor in the 200m Butterfly, which will always standout as a proud athletic achievement of mine that I couldn’t have reached without being apart of the University of Florida swim team.

With my swimming career wrapped up unregrettably, I once again find myself jumping into a sport first suggested to me by someone else. As 2010 will mark the first season of triathlon for me, I already recognize that I will be forever thankful to that person for that suggestion. There is a long journey ahead of me and I am in no better place in my life to start this next chapter. I hope you will follow with me in discovering new things and obtaining new achievements. Thank you to all that have supported me and to the continued support in the future. This site is to share with you all.
